As things currently stand, I do not see how or where I'll be able to fit a marathon into my schedule.

If all I manage to do in 2016 is not break anything or get hurt, I'll be thrilled. (I'm sure my insurance company will be thrilled too if I make it through one freaking year without multiple MRI scans.)

Can't comment on the 100 miler, but I once ran 17:44 for 5K, 1:25:04 for HM, and 2:56:38 for a marathon in the span of 7 weeks, so it can be done.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
The goal for the 100 miler is just to finish. LOL
My current PRs are 18:32, 1:26:52 and 3:04:03, so they seem like reasonable goals. Especially if I can maintain my strength/speed while dropping back down into the 170s. I'm faster right now at 195lbs than I was at 175.

2016 was to be the year of a half ironman tri, but already the budget for that isn't happening. So pushing that to 2017 or 2018.
