That thing looks amazing right now sinking in the western sky. Hopefully my contact with the lunatics under its spell will be limited today.
Morning! Running 15 tonight to get my LR out of the way.
Do you still have family/friends in PR? Looks like things will be really ugly there.
Dave, yes. My parents are there and my whole family, except for one grandmother here.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Nice.
Raining like hell here - if it let's up I'll run after work.
DS turns 24 today. Who knew.

15 trainer miles + 3.4 running miles -- just beat the rain. (In those thirty minutes of running, I managed to bring my "recovery time" down from 34 to 25 hours, per my Garmin. If I actually listened to that thing, I'd go insane. ...oh, wait.)

Hello!!! 2800 yard swim before work, which is a long swim as my current trend goes. Tempo run tonight, with only a little bit of tempo work. Good thing too because my legs are still feeling yesterday's bike workout.
Weather for my 5K this Sunday and my 70.3 next Sunday looks fantastic. *knock on wood*

Good luck!
6 miles in the delightful smoke-filled air.
Dave
I jogged for 6 miles.
It was 48 degrees and as the run progressed and the sun peeked through the trees, I was reminded of how great fall running is.
This is one of my finish line photos from Sunday's 10K.
Beast!
Is there anything you need to tell us?
Nice!
My race supposedly has free photo downloads, but I would probably trade that for actually measuring the distance right.
You are a handsome woman.
The strangest thing about this is that we didn't even finish near each other!! Though the middle number of my bib was a 4, too... which is about all we have in common.
I ran 10 and did some hip/core strengthening exercises. My IT band was irritating me a little bit today but nothing horrible. I've been lazy with my strength training so that's what I get.
