They'll tell you that failure is not an option. That's ridiculous. Failure is always an option. It is the easiest and most readily available option. It's your choice though.

I finally decided to pull the trigger and registered for my first marathon, the Hawk marathon in Lawrence, KS. It's a trail race that is part of a 50 mile and 100 mile race held on September 14th. If the race goes well, I'll be doing a 50K in October.
