Call me Ray (not Ishmael)
Sub-22 at my 5k on Dec 31st. That's about it.
Return To Racing
Figure out what to buy DW for Christmas. (and complete the holiday streak)
My goal is to finish recovering from a foot injury and be able to run w/o pain and without taking walking breaks.

December is a no race month for me, and a base phase for my Spring races.
Run on 20+ days, which should net me over 150 miles.
5K 20:23 (Vdot 48.7) 9/9/17
10K 44:06 (Vdot 46.3) 3/11/17
HM 1:33:48 (Vdot 48.6) 11/11/17
FM 4:13:43 (Vdot 35.4) 3/4/18
Are we there, yet?
Resist the temptation to race and focus on training for my January HM and February 12-hour race. Let the mileage fall where it may, but I'm expecting something in the 160-180 range.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
on my way to badass
Still waiting for the perfect race picture. 5K PR-33:52 , 10K PR 1:11:16, First HM 2:42:28
My only goal is 148.16 miles which gets me to 1,700. Yesterday I passed my all time yearly record but want that target.
I did a 10 mile race yesterday, and no more races until January.
Wickedly Average
December goals:
Continue healing the knee.
Run 4.2 miles on 12/31
Stop gaining weight!
That is all.

Team TJ
I need 80 miles to be satisfied with my year end total.
Running for TJ because he can't.
1) Run a strong 5K on the 15th. It's my favorite local course, but right on the waterfront, so weather can turn a really fast course into an icy
wind tunnel.
2) Relax a bit before starting the next marathon cycle in January.
Register for my first marathon...(excited and nervous)
Keep a eye on what the %$LL is going on with my toe and hope it resolves itself like the good Dr promised.
Enjoy the holiday season!
Mmmmm...beer
1. Stay healthy!
2. Stay on track with my marathon training
3. Finish my 50k alive and uninjured
4. Not gain any weight over the holidays (made it through Thanksgiving unscathed, so good so far)
5. Hit my goal for the year of 2500 miles
