Jack, our son has a lab very much like yours. Domi is 3, weighs 95 lbs and I think people are scared
when they see him walking down the street because he is so huge and his head is enormous. However
he is a big gentle fraidy cat.

This is Dusty, our running buddy. 100 lbs of Snifferdog!! Apparently when DH took him out for a walk yesterday, a fox crossed the road ahead of him. DH had both hands on the leash and was still getting pulled off the road!
He's also been known to help DH clean up the yard.
He's tall enough to steal things off the counter. Like a stick of butter, or a slice of pizza ... or an entire pork roast ...
When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run. The only thing that matters is how we have loved.
She was given that name by the rescue group and it was too hard to change it. She'd been rescued from a school playground where she'd been snuggling up to (begging for lunch bag handouts) the school kids. She's always been great with kids. She was pregnant with 10 pups, all of which were also adopted here in the U.S..

He is a rescue from down south and has adjusted surprisingly well to our harsh, northern climate.

Just BS: The same thing happens with our dog. People think she is part Rottweiler because she has this massive block shaped head with a short snout. She is all lab. We always tell people you cannot go wrong with a female lab.

This is Rascal. He is a 3 year old Beagle. I've tried running with him but that didn't work out. Anyone that has ever had a Beagle knows they are noses attached to a dog. And once that nose gets engauged there is no stopping it. He has to stop and sniff everything and I do mean everything. Also he thinks there is a law that everyone that goes by him must pet him. If they don't he will bark and whines at them in disapprovement. Other than that he is a pretty good dog.
He is waiting for someone to come back thru the door.
