So long to my favorite race management company. I had suspected something was up because their events were cross posted on the LRS website. They are now part of that group. Darn it. I really liked their efficiency.
6 miles, 5k race. Thought this course would easier than the previous one. Lol it was harder. Nice cliff in the middle.
I jogged 6.
Wondering if the last two race results will inspire Usain Bolt to give 2020 a go.
Morning. I have 12 miles, longest since the patella disloged. We'll see!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

15 or so. Over 55 for the comeback week. Don't necessarily want to go higher for now. Just keep the volume around 50-60 and add reps and time to my intervals sessions.

'Morning! Wife had a bike ride to do and I tagged along. 60 miles done. Going out to stuff my fat face now.
For the week:
Swim: 6.8 miles
Bike: 149 miles
Run: 25.4 miles
15 hours, 36 minutes. A good week!

What I thought would be 13.2 turned into 14.25, and not because I got lost. Can't figure out how that happened. It was nice to jump into the ocean after what was a very long and hot run almost completely devoid of shade.

Ciao altri corridori
I managed to get a second run in while in Florence.
This was a group of three runs while I ran some errands - total was about 4.5 miles.
Early train to Venice tomorrow so no run.

Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
He's a leaker!
Wow. I'm tired just reading that.
Ouch! That is quite a workout!
+1.
10k in 43:59. I suck. Warning: splits are not for the faint of heart. There were some stupid hills I could not really recover from. Pretty big race, so not much chance at AG placing anyway. Bleh.
However: for a ~1500-person race, in a congested area near downtown Seattle, I got a parking spot right across the street from the finish line. And a post-race French toast buffet for all runners. So I'm gonna call the day a win.

Considering I had a 48 second differential between miles 1 and 2 in a 5k, your splits look fine to me. Also due to big ass hill.
yeah it was tiring for sure.
Nice job, Dave!
