I left you a little message on yesterday's thread.
it was about 1 hr 45 min drive. (one way) The whole time driving there I was seeing lightening in the sky and checking facebook to see if the race was canceled. No updates. Got there and they were announcing it on loudspeakers Turned around and drove home. It was pouring so hard on the way back I was glad to not be running in that.

Onemile, that's what happened to us in the race in North Cali with the fires. We drove the 5 hours from LA to there looking at their FB and emails to see if they would cancel. They canceled AFTER they closed the expo that afternoon when they knew they were going to cancel. We could've stayed in LA that day and do something else, sigh.It sucks.
