Thanks.  I'm on crutches now, the Dr says about 6 weeks to heal.  I have an appt Wednesday with the same ortho that told me to buy a bicycle.  I should know more after that.

I think you should start with that when you see him. So I took your advice & bought a bike..... Or maybe don't ask him for alternative activities.
