WC: Now I have done a mega race and a small race. I prefer the small races, but, IF I get into Boston, I am going. It's funny you mention the Avenue of the Giants. That one is already on my list!
That one caught my eye way back in the early '70s. I think it was first run in 1972. It's one of those where I would just take my time running and enjoy the scenery. Maybe I'll put in on my future race list again now that I'm running longer races.

05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.

My problem is that it's always at the beginning of May. It is hard to take off work but... Oh, I can manage. That course sure looks nice.

We are considering it, but it is unlikely. July 27 is the first day of DD's XC camp in Mammoth and we are chaperons again. If the dates change, we will see you there!

Congrats Jack on running LA! Man, I would have serious problems with that weather. One of my worst races ever (a 10k) came in heat similar to that. It just is terrible.
