The CIM results page always you sort where you were in the field at each split. So, for example, I was in approx. 4200 place at the 10K split, but ended the race in approx. 3200 place. Not all race results let you do this.
That's pretty cool. I did not pass anyone late that I recall during my last marathon but passed a crap ton during my first marathon.
The CIM is a bucket list race for me so all of the details you have provided are cool.
Those 5 seconds when you cross the finish line are the best 5 seconds there are in the entire 18 weeks training cycle and race. Gotta smile for that!
