Time change SunDAILIES (Read 45 times)

Went out for 14, but was feeling too good to stop there, so I ran 15.1

Couldn't resist.   You still got more miles that I did this week.  Knee still feels fine after cooling down, and doesn't seem to be bleeding al over my pants, so that's promising.

20 with 9.5 at MP.  It went well.

I am on a build-up and will be for the next 6 weeks or so. I plan to race a 5k this spring on 60 MPW, which will be the first time I have ever done that (or even come close to it for that matter). I am excited about it!

Meanwhile back at the ranch; this little piggy just keeps chugging along!

Nice job on the race. That 5:36 pace for 4 miles is the fuckin' truth yo!

Why the change in training focus for this year?  Just trying something different?

It had a pretty high cheese factor with that whole 1990's gangsta hip-hop angle, which put me in the mind of Vanilla Ice, but it was not the worst movie I have seen.

The part when he beat the shit out of that car was absolutely hilarious!

I think that's it.  It was cheesy but I think they played it smart.  And the actor is really good at making a great character.  I would watch it again later.  It was not what I expected, that's for sure.

Yes, that part, don't steal from daddy, made me laugh.

I completely creamed a race coming off of all star week last year, I mean like pureed it. I am thus attempting to see if the high mileage was a coincidence, or the missing ingredient to get me to the next level.

Yeah, I'm eager to see how it turns out this year for you.  Your miles have been on the upswing lately, that's for sure.

Jack -- Fantastic job on your HM!  You killed that thing.

For me, another "long" run of 13.6 miles done today.  It went pretty well, but I'm still left scratching my head at how ever did all those 18+ milers for marathon training.

                        Life is good.

I know that's right! I only did 2 last cycle but will be looking to add another next time around.

Looks like I'm only doing 2 20s this time. I think I did 6 last time around.
