        Are we there, yet?

Are some of you actually talking about running and workouts? Wednesday evening intervals with my club today:

3 sets of 1000m at 10K pace, 1:00 rest, 400m at 5K pace, 2:00 rest, 200m at mile pace, 1:00 rest. My group opted to walk the timed rest interval rather than stand around. Best I've felt during at interval workout in a long time.

           2024 Races:

                03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles

                05/11 - D3 50K
                05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour

                06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.

On page one I think. lol

Let some tell it, we talk about running too much.

Nice workout, sounds like you are ready to race.

Trail run done. I found a couple new branches in the trail that were very technical. I had to jump a creek which is tough when you are already worn down. I feel like a fish out of water when I do trails.

                Personal Bests:

                800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)

Yea, it's not fun to deal with. We thought the skin issues were going to kill our dog, she had a full one MRSA outbreak one summer that took about 12 weeks of antibiotics to cure. We basically had only did "hands off" vet care for her last 3 years or so, she had some odd lumps that on a different dog would trigger a biopsy, but our vets were in agreement that the high risk of infection was not worth it (especially when the dog had already far exceeded any usual life expectancy for her breed).

that had to suck badly, for you and her.

Bruno is so cute. He waits by the door for me to get back from my run and then when I come in, he goes over to the fridge and points his nose up to the freezer waiting for his 'icy'.  (He gets his ice cube when I go to get a glass of water post-run.)  It almost makes running worth it.

Can I haz an "icy" too?

Bruno is the best.  I give my other dog one and she is like 'wtf is this and why would I want it?'

If you sit first.  That's the rule.
