As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

That's not entirely correct. My doctor is not a runner but understands its importance to me. She has tailored treatment to accommodate that and never hesitated to refer me to a specialist when needed for running related injuries. She has even commented that she has had to learn a lot in order to treat me properly.
Sounds like you have a great doctor! Any doctor willing to put in extra time to research things they don't know so they can understand one particular patient is a blessing.

50 minute track tempo done. 84 degrees and windy. Oof...not used to that yet. Only 7 sec/mile slower than my last couple of tempo runs, so not bad at all considering the heat. 7.35 miles total at 6:49 avg pace.

5.8 with 6 x 4 minutes at tempo-ish effort.
About the tiredness. More for women, but there is a lot of stuff on on the web about cortisol & it's effects. It's one of those read with caution type things. You get a lot of Instagram trainers with no credentials talking about how cardio is bad and messes up your hormones, but if you buy their training & meal plan, you'll be so much better off.

3 miles run home and I saw a rainbow over the river. It was pretty!
I don't care what sport it is, but the words "game seven" always get my attention.
