or something like that.
Not sure how this place works, but I'm willing to give it a try for a while.
Hey...we can have sig lines here? What about Tickers?

LOL-Welcome, Joanne! Great to see you here. I don't know why you couldn't have a ticker here. HTML works in the sig line area.
Are we there, yet?
Welcome, Joanne. You'll find lots of your friends and supporters here. The main activity seems to be in the user groups, not the main forums. Check out the other user groups as well to see if any appeal to you. Some are restricted, some are open to anyone, some have lots of activity and some have hardly any.
Yes, you can have sig lines. BTW your avatar picture goes in My Forum Preferences, not My Profile.
Also on the main forum page, if you scroll down, are some admin forums that have useful info. It takes a little while to get used to the change in structure and what's post posted where, but if an old, stubborn grump like me can do it, you should be able to. You're already demonstrated that you can learn all kinds of new skills at your job.

Welcome Joanne. Glad you found us.
You have to watch that Eddie character. He tried to strangle me during Bob's Burning River. I have photographic proof!
Speaking of which, now to get the Professor over here ....
Welcome Joanne. Glad you found us. Now to get the Professor over here ....
Now to get the Professor over here ....
Is he waiting for us to beg?
Probably. Actually, I think Bob! is actually just busy with the end of the semester. I think he will join us once he has a little free time.
Maybe we should get the cookies out.
Welcome, Joanne!
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
Hi!
