Singer who runs a smidge
The "Penguin" daily threads were originally conceived to emphasize that all members of the community have a place on the boards. Encouragement, motivation, a little love nip (you will love one, give it a try!) or even a little kick in the pants when needed -- it can happen here. Basically, we celebrate just getting out there and moving our tails! What is "slow"? "Slow" is a perception but one of the common benchmarks is the 10:00/mi pace; but there's no firm line. In fact, there are many of us that have slipped past this, and just hope that no one notices and revokes their "igloo privileges." And some penguins don't run at all, we just hang out for the company! It can be confusing for the forum newbies, but we're not one of the teams in any of the fine games. It's a totally open group, so stop lurking, post an introduction of yourself dive in and join the fun! No application necessary! There might even be a lovely picture for Scotty (we love pics!)
When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run. The only thing that matters is how we have loved.
At least this penguin will be singin' in the rain. Quartet rehearsal tonight! I opted not to watch two hours of commercials last night when NCIS wasn't on, so I took a bubble bath instead. Around 2 AM DH started snoring, so I poked him and told him to roll onto his side. He said ok, then got up, put on his glasses, and started to get dressed and head out to feed the pets. "No honey, it's not time to get up, you just needed to roll over."

Wandering Wally
Ended up with an unscheduled rest day yesterday. In the evening it was snowing very hard. Visibility was down around 50 feet. Not wanting to end up as road kill, I opted to just watch the snow from indoors. I'll try to make it up tonight. Besides this gave me an opportunity to give my running duds a vinegar soak and a wash. I'll be smelling much better now :-)

Afternoon! I have Pilates and 5. Ran 7 last night but super busy between work and traveling to West Palm Beach yesterday, so I quickly made dinner and went to bed.

No running either - SRD for me. Last tempo run tomorrow, then only easy running until marathon day!
Too much fog and rain for me to get outside today, so I just did 2.5 on the TM.
