Mmmmm...beer
I'll hit 1000 this week. Not where I wanted to be, but my running has been going well so I can't complain. Looking forward to some more focused training over the summer for my marathon in October.

634 since April 11th. I wasn't recording mileage before that...

Are we there, yet?
I don't think I've moved an inch. I'm still sitting at the computer where I usually am spending more time reading and writing about running than actually doing it. Maybe I should pay more attention to Nike ads.
I fell way behind in January and February and haven't made up any of that deficit yet.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
That's one way to drop some weight!
Too excited about hitting 800?
It could almost be viewed as a small miracle, ffs.
I don't wanna talk about it and you can't make me
Sometimes numbers don't matter and that's quite all right!

Couldn't wait 3 weeks, huh?
Right? Dude, June ain't even close to being over yet.
If nothing on me breaks, I will beat 2013, 2014, and 2015 YEARLY totals by sometime in July this year. On pace for 1400-1500 miles right now, which is sort of amazing.
Running is dumb.
Why do tomorrow (or in 19 days as it were lol) what can be done today.
Nice comeback on the mileage there.

Nice! When's the next ultra?

Awesome
I still haven't run farther than 14 miles! I'm achy toward the end of longer runs. I guess I need to start running longer to see if that achiness gets worse or just stays level. I've sort of forgotten how to run long. It seems scary.
893 and feeling better than ever, relatively speaking that is.

I'm not doing that math because it will make me cry.

I had this with my IT Band. I know it's not the same as surgery or labral tears but for a long time I was afraid of long runs and it hurt for the last couple miles. But I slowly increased them and it still would hurt for the last couple miles (but I was able to increase and it didn't get worse). Anyway, good luck. If that's what you want to do.
