LRB, I've found that when wearing a headlamp, I need to wear a visor/hat with it, or the light bleeds down into my eyes and is very distracting.

    Damaris, that's a great pic!!

My test run in my trail shoes went amazingly well.  They're are pretty much as comfortable as my road Kinvaras, lil firmer, but that's to be expected with the harder outsole and rockplate.  They can definitely handle any of the terrain around here.  There's a small hill on the trail I was on, you have to go off the main trail to hit the hill, so most people skip it, and one side of it is very steep.  I hit it on every lap, pretty much sprinted up the hill and was even stepping on the piles of pine needles to try to lose traction, and never did, it was great.  Can't wait to long run these on Sunday!
