    LM: Thanks for the recap.  It all makes sense now.

     

    KC:  The insoles are a good first step.  My orthotics fixed mine the first run.  You might also look at a Strassburg Sock or a boot to sleep in.  I used the sock for my IAT because it looked more manageable than a boot.  Either one will keep your plantar fascia stretched while you're sleeping so it won't "pull" loose when you start walking after getting up in the mornings.   It's supposed to help heal quicker.

     

    Dave:  Have faith.  See how you respond to tapering.

     

    6.8 miles on the TM.  2 miles warmup, 4x 800 (actually .5) @ 7:30, 7:34, 7:30, 7:19 w/2 minutes at 9:30, then finished with a mile or so at 8:50ish.  Did my leg workout first.
