Singer who runs a smidge
The "Penguin" daily threads were originally conceived to emphasize that all members of the community have a place on the boards. Encouragement, motivation, a little love nip (you will love one, give it a try!) or even a little kick in the pants when needed -- it can happen here. Basically, we celebrate just getting out there and moving our tails! What is "slow"? "Slow" is a perception but one of the common benchmarks is the 10:00/mi pace; but there's no firm line. In fact, there are many of us that have slipped past this, and just hope that no one notices and revokes their "igloo privileges." And some penguins don't run at all, we just hang out for the company! It can be confusing for the forum newbies, but we're not one of the teams in any of the fine games. It's a totally open group, so stop lurking, post an introduction of yourself dive in and join the fun! No application necessary! There might even be a lovely picture for Scotty (we love pics!)
When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run. The only thing that matters is how we have loved.
Definitely have a cold, and I didn't sleep well last night. Oh well, 'tis the season!! Pick-up quartet rehearsal tonight, hopefully we don't suck as badly as we did last time!

334 days into 2016 and I have FINALLY caught up to the pace bunny! Now I just have to not fall apart before December 31 and I'll make my goal pretty easily - I've been gaining on it for months now.
7 miles this morning. 10 miles AM, 3 miles PM yesterday. Rolling 7 day total is at 60, which is where I was hoping to be for this week so I might have to take a rest day and scrap that plan if I'm still tired and achy tomorrow morning.
Way to run that little bunny down!!

Opposite of Lauren as pace bunny has caught me, and is 1 mile ahead now. Those rest days are killing me. Just need 105 miles by 12/31.

So I always turn on some Spotify dinner musicevery night. Tonight, Country Christmas pops up and DW says "Christmas music? It's not even December". Funny..every wall and corner of our house is littered with Christmas decorations, including the tree with a zillion ornaments. Bwahahaha !!!
Foggy foggy night for a beer run. I didn't stay for beer, because I was wet from the fog and really wasn't looking forward to driving home in it.
Jerry - Christmas starts the day after Thanksgiving, unless you're Walmart in which case it starts the day after Halloween. We had neighbors put up their lights a week before Halloween.
