        What's with all you old people and your newspapers?

         

         The fact that you got the AG win says that everyone was affected by the heat, not just you.  

         

        ^ This. It's not a training run, it's not a time trial, it's a race. And you won it. Well done.

         

        MTA: I was going to say before I read the rest of the report that a 10 min warmup is pretty light for a 5k. However it sounds like not being warm enough was not your problem. But, is that typical for you? No way I could do a short race on less than 2-3 miles.

          That's awesome that you can run by the filming sites!

           

          I theoretically get the paper, but they've stopped delivering it (but haven't stopped charging me) for some reason.  Need to call them and just cancel, grr.

            DaveP, I usually warm up for 15-20 minutes. I got there later than planned and ran into someone from a state agency I work with.

             

            I'm not yet officially old yet. I have 7 months before I join the masters ranks.
