As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

            13 miles w/tempo intervals: 5x1600m + 3x200m. Killed it.

Incidentally, DW & DD went blueberry picking yesterday & came home with a load of them. No pie, but DW made basically blueberry muffins but in a 9x9" pan. Yum. Apparently it's called a blueberry buckle, which I have never heard of in my life, maybe a regional thing.

Oh and the watch programming worked like a charm.

I was pretty happy with my paces, considering how slow I've been on easy runs. Been saving it up for the hard workouts I guess, which of course is the way to do it.

Second 20 miler in the books. I'm tired.

Then you did it right.  Good job.

I did a similar workout to DavePNW but it was scaled using Daniels' for slower, lower mileage runners. So 5 x 6 minutes tempo + 4 x 1 minute. Stupid watch decided to be uncooperative, I thought the workout transferred (supposed to be 4 x 200), but it didn't, so this was the best way to wing it without making it 2 entries. And to really twin on DavePNW, we spent almost the exact same amount of time running, only I covered far less miles.

Is there a limit to the number of custom workouts you can store in the actual watch (Garmin 200)?

                          Runshortii, nice 20!

I think there is. I have the 630, but I have found this with my other garmins too that once you have a certain number of workouts on it, it will stop transferring new ones. You don't get an error or anything. It's just doesn't add the new one after it syncs. And if you go and delete a few of the saved workouts, then it will work.

I have 15  workouts on my 630 but rarely add new ones. I mostly edit the ones that are on it.
