        Whoa! Speedy, dude! WTG!!

6 very warm, sunny miles. I feel obligated to report the dew point is 71.

          Nice run Boon head!

My workout is complete: 5 X 1200's with 3 min recoveries.

The times were 4:42, 4:40, 4:42, 4:40 and 4:43 for 3.7 miles for an average pace of 6:22 (target pace was 6:20).

Tempo recoveries are normally 2 mins, but I felt it more important to nail my splits my first time out at this pace and I did so mission accomplished.  I will work on lowering the recoveries as the season progresses.

As it is, 9.5 miles total and one happy boy!

He is faster than I am, he just trains at longer distances than I do at the moment.

              Brrrrrrr

              Uffda

Ended up doing 3.4 mi. in 28 min. I threw in 6 strides in the middle and just said F it - let's dial it up. Ended up doing a progression run. Mile splits were 8:46, 8:24 and 7:45. The foot felt fine after I walked a bit for my warmup. It's a little tender though when I push on it.

Thanks so much everyone!  RR is posted.  I'm very pleased with the results, especially considering I haven't done any fast running since last summer.  I think with some speed work and weight loss, I'll see some good results.

LOL  Now that would be a neat feature.  Even better would be if it could tell you AG placing, and track other runners in your AG! Smile

Everyone wears running shoes, and lots of spectators wear the unicorns. I suggest to look for Garmins.

I took another nap.  I swear I must be a damn fat cat what with all the sleep I have gotten the past 24 hours!

It's cool though, I am going to a wine tasting at Rochester's Fieldstone Winery so the extra rest will come in handy as wine usually knocks my ass right out!
