If it's hot out, it's cool in the tunnel; if it's cold out, it's warm in the tunnel. We had the latter; it felt really warm and stuffy in there, but I didn't have any breathing problems (YMMV).
Good to hear. I also feel my asthma is better than when I ran Paris (but I was so much faster then, damn it). LOL.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

5 miles after work today, and a little over 2 miles walking at lunch time. Too bad that doesn't count.

Strength training and weed pulling.
With the tunnels, does your watch "connect the dots" once you regain the signal? With my 405, I had accidentally stopped it during a workout and then realized it about 3 minutes later and it basically drew a line between the 2 points. The only tunnel I've dealt with in a race is maybe 1/10 of a mile under a 2 lane road. I have no interest in doing the race almost fully in the Harbor Tunnel.
You could get lucky and the marathon would be short too. Pretty unusual for a certified marathon to measure short on a Garmin I think. Although it's happened once to me; I had Tacoma at 26.15. That's 0.2%, so I'm gonna say it's within the GPS margin of error.
My BQ at the Spinx RunFest in Greenville, SC came in at 26.07.
All others since Garmin became a thing are 26.4 and 26.5 (Boston)

Marathons should be shorter and more scenic.
PR is going to drink himself into, then out of a coma.
LOL - great Cliff notes - thanks.
Are we there, yet?
Like one of those 5K marathons everyone is talking about?
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
I think the recommendation for today was just for more 26.05. And certified, of course.
