Done. Head wind gusts of 35 mph. First day in the 80s (85). Damn.
Strength training cause I didn't feel like going out in 90 degrees.
I went with these from RW, figured the colors seem kinda summery:

My tempo run was a disaster.
10 minute warm up
10 minute tempo (7:12 pace)
2 easy
10 minute tempo (7:39 pace)
10 minute tempo (7:53 pace)
92 degrees and windy. Holy hell....the heat killed me. On paper, 6 miles at 7:40 avg pace isn't all bad though.

Not bad for me. For you that's like recovery pace. We expect better.
92 degrees and windy.
FTS.

Nothing can top the disappointment I have in myself.
It was 83, sunny and super windy so I ran on the treadmill for my workout
Which was 12 minutes at half marathon pace, 2x800 at 10k and 3x400 at 5k
This is so true
As long as we are being disappointed in ourselves, today was a real slog, and I have no excuse. It was at least 15 sec/mi slower than I like my MLRs to be.
I say that a lot...
I actually had 7 with 8 X 100m and not 8 (looked at the wrong Pfitz plan), so that is what I did. Knee was a bit achy today but I walked a lot in heels and in court today so it was that. My knee has not been achy at all for a week, not even after the 20 miler, so yay me.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Do you want me to give you the speech I gave you last time we had this conversation? No one can run fast in that shit, not even Jesus, and not even you.

Last workout, I expect. Or is it?
Yes, then I just have 6,5,4 (she reduced it because I was feeling so tired)
