Now I am staring 95 degrees in the face when I can finally get away from work and run.

8 ugly miles done.  I had a tempo run on my schedule and did not even attempt it.  8 easy miles in this heat was plenty of work.

 

And...I booked a hotel for CIM.  I picked the refundable rate!

Not so hot but very humid so 83 felt like 92 when I ran. At least it was mostly cloudy. Even so, it was a difficult run. I ran 7 hilly miles. My hamstring was killing me at the start, so much that I almost called my husband for a ride, but it loosened up after a couple of miles.
