Fly by post because tired and sore.
I don't know when Baboon's going to check in, but he kicked some ass out there today.
Yessir...I had a good day. I executed Coach's plan to perfection. 5:33 race time. 3900' of climbing on the bike, and 1100' on the run. That's a lot. At least the swim is flat. 187/756 OA, 26/97 AG. So top 25% thereabouts in both. I felt great on the run and clocked a 1:46.

Baboon, nice race! That's a lot of climbing.

Nice job Boon. Now go eat some shit up!
Part of the problem is that I am out of shape right now. His marathon and half PR's match mine but he's the kind of guy who can run everything at 7:30 and that's def not me.
I know someone like that, two guys actually. Every time we're at a group run those two go to the head of the pack, and I go to the back. lol

Nice job on the hills, HCK! SD, that sucks that you missed your goals, but the heat can have such a huge impact on race day. I got another PR! Wooo-Hoooo! Run for the Zoo 10k this morning in 1:03:03, a 10:09 pace and a :50 PR. I found my pace pretty quickly and held on to it pretty good, mile splits were 9:59, 10:14, 10:10, 10:05, 10:07, 9:59, and 9:36 pace for the last .2. It was hot in the sun, but wonderful in the shade. The best part was that the finish line was at the Lion House 😊. My marathon a few weeks ago may have sucked, but the training cycle has really paid off in the last 9 days. I don’t like to race in the summer, so this is it for me until the fall.

Stackin' 'em and rackin' 'em.
Kc- Great work on the PR!
Boon- Holy freakin climbing you kicked some ass . Well done

SD- Sorry you had a bad race. I can’t imagine trying to race a Half in the heat. sweating during your warmup is never a good thing. My last 2 races were like this. Sounds like your in great shape though so it’s not like all that training was for nothing. Try not to beat yourself up over it. Summer races suck.
I met up with my new running partner for a long run. I figure either I will get fit trying to keep up with him or I will die
Great attitude. Are you still running within Daniels “Easy” pace? I know sometimes his easy doesn’t feel so easy. I don’t use it for all my runs but i will most of the time for LRs

Congrats, KC!
Great job, Baboon!
Ran 10 on the TM and these ones went better than the prior run, mostly because I flaked and used the inhaler before my run.
