How to get tuned up for a 10k in two weeks time? (Read 77 times)

    Just continue with your final long run this weekend then cut back your mileage a little next week by shortening your runs, not skipping one. I wouldn't add anything new, so if you haven't been running any speedwork, I wouldn't add it, even strides.

     

    I should have added that as a caveat to my post and agree completely.

    Short term goal: 17:59 5K

    Mid term goal:  2:54:59 marathon

    Long term goal: To say I've been a runner half my life.  (I started running at age 45).
