Some PICS are up!
Thanks for the heads up!
You poor tortured soul, what a range of emotions! lol
I know I got a little dramatic. It was a dramatic moment.
Hamburgers or Spamburgers?
Funny you should ask, the burger I usually get at this place has SPAM on it! But I decided to get the Donut Burger this time: patty of half ground beef and half bacon, served with a fried egg and American cheese between two glazed donuts.
Those photos came out great!
KillJoyFuckStick
I'm not so sure about that. There are a bunch of copyright watermarks on them.
Congrats on the PR.
You people have issues
Nice pics!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Good job!
And yes if you were pushing 5k pace during that last portion, you definitely have faster HM times in you!

Thanks. You would LOVE the burger place - so much bacon - and spam - basically a salted pork heaven.
Great photos!

You Rang?
Well Done! Surf City is a fun race. Congratulations on crushing your PR, the negative splits, and on the realization that you have grown out of the run-walk-run technique. I run Disney frequently and always greet Mr. Galloway (a runDisney celebrity) as I pass him on the course.
And walking to the staring corrals is a real treat. I woke up to the horn of the marathon start (6:30 am) and got to the half corrals right on time.
Keep training, keep running and oh the places you'll go!

Just had a heart attack thinking about it!
Great job, Brilliant! You killed it!
Very cool to see that you trained well, overcame the mental barriers, and possibly had an "a-ha" moment when you realized that you were going to be able to finish much stronger than expected.
Awesome race.
