Ready for track season! I got some last year and never got a chance to use them yet.
Here's to putting down fast times this season!
I figure 400, 800 and mile. Though I may go for the 3000 just to see:
You could run on the treadmill during a power outage in those bad boys.
Shit, Sly would bring the lights back on doing that.
Good one!

Any track meets this year in the cards for either of you?
There is a weekly summer long All-comers meet here that I'm going to hit several times.
We'll see about sub 5:00 -
I should be well into that range, last time I ran a mile was in training at a 5:03. Fatigued on crushed limestone.
Best 800 last year on the track was 2:20 - also during training.
I am not connected with the track scene so I kind of miss out on a lot of those leads. There is an organization about an hour from here that holds events a couple of times a year but I have yet to make a connection with them.
Although I actually registered for an indoor mile event around this time last winter while training for my spring half marathon, I ended up doing a workout of sustenance instead.
I suspect once I do make that connection I will learn more about those events and jump right in with them.

Not for sure. There is a low-key summer meet at one of the local high schools that also has open heats for adults, and a 5,000m on the track at some point that is historically poorly attended because people would rather just do a 5K on the roads.
I would like to see how I fare in the 800, though.
