Puerto Rico Marathon RR With Tons of Pics (Long) (Read 169 times)

Ms Chenandler Bong

You are an animal!!  I'm so impressed, I would have melted into a puddle by mile 5.  So glad that you made a mini vacation out of it and that your family was able to see you finish.

Here's hoping you have a cool, slightly misty marathon in San Fran!

    Sloooow.

For such hideous weather, your attitude is amazing! So cool that you went back to PR for their first marathon.

      Congratulations!

Great job under crazy conditions.  It must have been so cool to run at "home".  Congratulations!

                  Are we there, yet?

I've heard of - and experienced - some tough conditions running marathons, but that has got to be the most extreme. I predict it will never be as popular as NYC or even Miami. Miami sounds like it might be cool in comparison.

MTA - congratulations on surviving, finishing, and running without a major asthma episode.

Wow,  do you think they'll consider moving it to a different time of the year?  Or is PR just damned hot no matter when it is?

                      Excellent work making through that!!

                        Yes.

Having said that, this week was just a bit strange.  It was supposed to rain all week and therefore the humidity went through the roof but then it didn't rain so we all got screwed up with the humidity on top of the heat.  It did rain as I was laying in the pool.  Damn it!

Very hot, but glad you could get home to run the marathon.
