    Heh.

Hilarious! As someone from the east coast, that is exactly how I respond. First confusion, then "should we leave or something?" Big grin

According to those guys, the appropriate response in an earthquake is to loosen your tie.  lol

I've been in two earthquakes, so I know that, yes, loosening your tie is the correct response.

P.S. I actually have bee in two earthquakes - probably the same ones as that guy. Tongue

            LOL!

We had a small earthquake in our area a few years ago. It happened during the night, in winter. I woke up and asked my SO: :Hey... what's that?"  "It must be the city snowplow", he replied. "Okay.." We went back to sleep and only found out the next morning that it had actually been an earthquake.

Earthquakes in PR were not common (little ones of 4-5.0 are more common now). But when I was in college, we had one of close to 4.0 and since I was preparing for bed brushing my teeth, all I did was sit on the toilet thinking WTF.  I would be screwed if a big one comes, ha.
