The Winter Series 5K: Dissecting a Disappointing Race (Read 361 times)

Barking Mad To Run

I won't even begin to try and give advice to you, you are way out of my league as a runner.   So I will just say, sorry you were disappointed with the results, but congratulations anyway cuz, from my perspective, that is one smoking fast time!

    Nice avatar photo too!

Whether you want it or not,  CONGRATULATIONS!  I don't know any other 50 years olds (or usually much younger) that wouldn't be thrilled to death with that performance.  As tough of a cookie as you are, you're human, and sometimes don't live up to the unusually high standards you've set for yourself.  I for one, don't see how anyone who ran a 70 mile week could expect their best race at the end of it.  Stop being so hard on yourself, you truly did very well.
