What... is that white creature?
IDK but that's what I'm wearing when I do mine.
Dave
You’re supposed to provide further detail when saying something like that.
Stay tuned for my next crack at it, I might be on to something...
Yeah, I think I'd like to be the guy watching the girls coming out of the freezing water wearing a Yeti suite.
Are we there, yet?
I think it's the person that just got out of the water.

Docket mentioned making herself a martini. So I looked at my counter and realized I had somehow neglected a really good (partially opened) bottle of wine that needed to be drunk? Drank? So I poured myself a glass in hopes that it would keep me warm while I walk my dog. In the -22 *feels like* temp (I am clinging to that, partially b/c I really believe it, and partially b/c I feel like a badass for continuing to go out in this cold weather and I kind of like to brag about the cold that I live in). So I'm about to bundle up in about 593303030333 layers, reflective gear, etc., and take my bundle of joy outside for a frolic. Pray for our souls that we don't freeze to death.
That has now been added to my queue. Thanks!
Shameless is awesome!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, support, and virtual hugs.
blue - Great RR! Isn't it weird how these physical and mental challenges don't seem as difficult once done? Great job conquering that cold weather and water!
Hog - Congrats on that 50K! Man that cold wet weather sounded brutal. It's all about time and effort and you toughed it out. And like you said, you finished injury free. Great job man!
