Zel, maybe Cascadia is "all that" but they have to make the disaster movies about California and New York because it's where the audiences are! But the Pacific Northwest gets one occasionally - wasn't the Pierce Brosnan volcano movie from 20 or so years ago about Cascadia?

ETA: yes the movie was called Dante's Peak and was set in the fictional town of Dante's Peak, Washington.
