YAYpril - B-Plus
I just drank a Blue Moon - Valencia Grove Amber - and it was good.
Because carbo load.

Does that have the orange label? I want to try that one. The agave is currently my favorite of the Blue Moons.
Yep! It's good. My favorite is the spiced amber ale. I think it was in an Autumn sampler a few years ago.
Mmmmm...beer
5 miles @ 8:00/mile done. Now devouring an entire thin crust frozen pizza. Because 5k carb load.

I recommend the blue Moon variety pack from Costco.
D2: 5k carb load... Lol
6 sunny miles @ 8:43.
Maybe I should have pizza as well. We'll see.
And a Blue Moon to wash it down!

That would require a trip to the specialty liquor store (we can't buy alcohol in grocery or convenience stores in this communist nation), but I'll stop by the regular liquor store to grab something to wash it down.
BTW ... just counted carbs for the day and the tally came to 620g - and I wasn't really even trying. I'm also happy to report that no frozen pizzas were harmed during the course of the day.
Bags are packed and I'm ready to hit the road tomorrow morning with 4 friends from church who are heading down to run the same race. It's going to be a fabulous weekend and I hope to come back with a great race report ... or at least one that's mildly entertaining.
Train smart ... race smarter.

That is pretty good.
Love the new name by the way!
I love Blue Moon but I have not tried the agave one. But knowing how healthier and yummy agave is, I'm sure I'll like it.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Hi dailies:
Beth -What a mess, no one should construe your resulting attitude as bitchiness. Good luck getting it all squared away.
AmiK - hope that doc can figure it out for you.
Bruce - you're completely off the deep end of the taper pool, and I love it.
Blue Moon - My favorite one is called "Allagash White".
SIAR = BAMF, you are going to kill it.
7 miles in light rain today, 6:30 pace. It wasn't fun, gotta get my body back on board with moving faster than MP.
Around 4cal per g of carbs usually, but there's gonna be some fat and protein in whatever he ate too (9cal & 4cal per g respectively), so I'd guess over 3,000 calories for BloatedTaperBruce today.
