The way they design the bib pickup in Montreal is even if you're registered for the 5K, you kinda have to walk through the expo to get to the exit. I mean you could avoid it if you really really didn't want to, but you'd be walking against the arrows and the people telling  you where to go.

Baltimore sets up the expo so you have no choice but to walk through the ENTIRE thing (ok, it's not huge) in order to get your bib and shirt. One year they had the expo in the Ravens' stadium. The bib pick up was on the opposite side of the expo from the shirts. Thy've since moved to the convention center where they set it up in aisles where you can only enter on one end and exit on the other, so you have to pass by everything.
