Blush Thanks, and I can't wait to have pics of my son running his first races, or just running around me period. Right now he will only actually run when I chase him lol.

Second alarm clock went off at 5:00 a.m so I got up and took 10 minutes to decide on which shorts to wear, I didn't want my really loose ones but my favorite ones would have been showing my butt cheeks so bad I would not be posting pics of them, I finally decided on my regular running shorts that are a bit tight but don't come up past my cheeks which is good.

Ah yes, the travails of pre-race wardrobe decisions lol.

Nice job.  That's a nice trophy.  I went into two races this spring with serious doubts, and both times I was very pleased with the outcome.  I don't know if we just get into our own heads, or if something just changes when we get to the starting line.  I think that there are days when you just have to show up and see what happens.  I think these races that turn out way better than expected are actually more rewarding.  I'm glad to see that others have this experience.

Thanks all, yeah I couldn't believe the little trophy myself. DH even asked me 3 times if I wanted to look at the results they were posting next to the trophies, but I thought no chance in hell did I place in the top 3 AG wise. 1st place lady came in at 45:29, 2nd place came in at 51:36, 3 minutes before me.

LRB next year might see a sub 50 for a 10k, who knows Smile
