My run wasn't perfect - finally got the intervals. I ran mile 1 in 8:22, a little traffic there held me up. Mile 2 in 8:30, with the race's only uphill. Mile 3 - 8:07, and a 6:44 pace for the last tenth as I kicked it in high gear.

Ended up second in age group, but I don't know what #1 did. They only gave prizes to first place runners in each group, but everyone got a finisher's medal.

Lots of sponsors for this one. I hope that it can grow next year. Perhaps if they weren't up against a money race that the Chattanooga Track Club was hosting the same day, the turnout would have been even bigger. As it was, I think that there were around 125 runners, not bad for a first time event.
