Today's workout called for 4 miles of 30 seconds "hard" and 2:30 "moderate" That's one of Hudson's variance to make a fartlek structured. Had only a vague notion of what those paces would be, but did not have high hopes for this being a meaningful workout. Just wasn't feeling the love, ya' know? But the results were a big confidence boost. I ended up averaging about 7:31 for the 4 miles (with warm up and cool down the total was 6+). That's a little better than my projected current pace for 15K. And the "hard" efforts averaged about 7:04 (5K pace) and the moderates about 7:40 pace (better than HM).

Boston 2014 - a 33 year journey
Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
He's a leaker!
Ran 3.50 miles with hubby. Knee was fine earlier, now it's a whiny little bitch (not too bad, though). I blame him, of course. 11.50 miles for the day.
And I can't breathe well. Yay me.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.
