          not lazy, just tired

Haven't been here in a while, but, since Runner's World (at least the forums) is now officially dead, here I am. Anyway, like Baboon, I'm running the Hartford Half Marathon on 10/14

            Not if it makes sense.

I actually won this race last year cause it was unseasonably hot and all the fast runners stayed home. Probably won't be so lucky this year, but got to defend my title.

I haven't registered yet because these are small local type races that don't sell out or have a cap. Learned my lesson on that,  wasted too much money and then got injured and couldn't run. I wait until the last week.

10/15 DavePNW - Snohomish River Run Marathon

Goal until a couple days ago was 3:27 for BQ-3 and "plenty of cushion to get in". LOL. Goal now is either:

                        1. 3:27, stay the course

                        2. 3:25 for BQ-5, go big or go home

                        3. IDGAF.

As of right now there are only 120 registered for this race, so if I go with #3 it's going to be a long day. Possibly even a longer day with #2, as I'd risk a pretty big blowup. But even #1 seems somewhat dubious right now. Training as hard as ever, but not feeling it. We'll see.

That is smart. It probably only took you about 15-20 marathons to figure that out, so I probably need to bang my head against the wall a few more times
