Introducing..A new Race Distance! (Read 135 times)

Just B.S.

I wish they would start calling Sprint Tri's , Iron Man 1/8th A-thons and

    Oly Tri's,  Quarter Iron MansSmile

I would throw a bunch of those puppies on my bumper.

I like to run "Three-Quarters Marathons". I mean, the races are regular marathons, but that's how I run them.

Actually, the Run Like Hell I did was a 6K.  I just did it as a fun run since it was my first race back since my injury.

How about a 30% marathon?  That would be about 7.86 miles.

We have one of those coming up in Chicago which I will not be doing. Any gimmick to get people to your race I guess. Why not a 2.62 mile race and call it a sprint marathon? I know... someone's already done it, right?
