Happy Thanksgiving!!!
29:27 at my Turkey Trot 5K this morning. Not a PR but considering it was 27 "feels like" 16 with 20mph sustained winds and gusts over 35mph, and that I've had low mileage and shin issues lately, I was pleased. And I ran a 33:33 at the same race last year, at the same effort level so it is good to see that tangible amount of improvement!!
Have a great day and yay for fellow racers!

Dad on the run.
Hey everyone. So yesterday I thought I would be able to do some heavy leg lifting at the gym and then do speed work afterwards... Yea, that didn't work. Legs were way to heavy So I just called it a day. The nimbus felt good though. Going to try for a few in a little while.
Chasing the sub 20 5K.

Happy Turkey Day.
I started the day by creating a 4.6 mile equivalent calorie deficit. It has since been thoroughly erased...
Running for TJ because he can't.
I had two lunches today and I have not even cooked the Thanksgiving dinner. Sigh.
T25 Total Body workout done. I did 20+ planks, ouch.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.
