Good luck Baboon! Do the thing!

I slept like him last night. But not sure how I feel since I haven't tried getting out of bed yet. No running today, tyvm. On the agenda:

    - Try to  convince anyone to wake up & go out to breakfast

    - Mow the lawn

    - See Wonder Woman

    - Write a race report

    - Celebrate my 23rd anniversary in some manner to be determined by DW.

    Have a good one, people!

Update: Sore. But nothing out of the ordinary.

    Dave

How's the hip (or anything else) feeling? I know you mostly walked, but that was a long, long walk.

The hip is still great. Maybe the marathon cured it? The other thing I'm thinking is that I spent like 90 minutes in the hot tub Friday night (mostly because I was too impatient to let it warm up before getting in), so maybe that was exactly what it needed.

I don't know if this is the difference between running and walking a marathon, but the front of my ankles and my knees are the most sore. Hamstrings and quads are fine. It's not too bad, although my streak mile will be an ugly thing. Also I still have the cough.

What up figments of my imagination!

I wasn't able to hit the gym this morning, my wisdom teeth are killing me yet again, the right side started aching last night and I couldn't sleep well all night and it was really painful this morning so I didn't go.

On the good side, I woke up with no soreness whatsoever in my legs, hell yesterday I was feeling better and my knee wasn't bugging me.

BUT! Later or earlier this morning I decided to take Jetta to the riverfront and try to run, see what happens.

                        No Pain!!!!!

During the first mile, my left knee was trying to hint at something but nothing ever happened and by the 2nd mile I had found my stride and it was all good.

3.2 miles for Jetta and I!!

I did 10 minutes on the elliptical then drove up to the track and ran 4.5 miles, literally.

I wore headphones to keep my mind off my ankle so I got lost in the music and ran a bit too fast. It was really smooth though so I toyed with the idea of running 5 or even 6 once I was in the 3rd mile, but I don't want to do too much too soon so reluctantly, I shut it down. Blah.

Morning!  Slept 10 hours, sheesh.  No running today most likely.  We'll see.  Too much to do.  Wonder Woman later.
