Hope you can catch a nap Pam.
So last nights run was a pretty big disaster. Pain with every step. I have an appt with the podiatrist on Tue. 2 months of my highest mileage ever finally broke me.
Take Charge. Train Harder. Suck Less. No Excuses.
Run to live; live to run
waiting for someone to call me that was supposed to call me 10 min ago. i have another call in 20 so they better make it fast!

Ouch! Hope the podiatrist can help, Van.
Relentless forward progress
Marjorie, if they snooze they lose.
Oh they made it And we made the time work.
Well, I think the rest has helped. I also taped my foot last night, using a cotton ball as a buffer. And doubled up on the Aleve. Foot feels better today, and was able to run a recovery run. I think the thicker metatarsal pad on my dress shoe insert helped relieve pressure off the nerve too. Ugh, it's always a battle, but I'm still going to the doc.
Hey, it's the weekend for all yaw'l. Good luck Doug and Damaris on your races. Today was Monday for me. Blah. We're grilling burgers tonight and beer is on the way.
Van, hope the podiatrist can help. Keep resting it!
Good luck to Doug!!!!!!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Pam, you will sleep well.
Heather, I agree, sequester sucks in many ways.
Doug finished his half.
And Neil is probably enjoying a great weekend with his wife in California, and it happens to be Mary's birthday today.
I'm at work today. Blah. Eating chocolate covered pretzels at the moment.
Happy Saturday
Looks like the Kentucky Derby will be a wet one.
Have you ever met anyone in your life who, at their core, are selfish, narcissistic dumbasses? I guess, for me, I tend to try to see the good in someone, but sometimes, there just isn't any good in them. Happy Sunday folks.
Van - (((((hugs)))))
Having a MUCH better night at work tonight.
Yes Van.
