Hey all. Never got called in this weekend, so I was able to go to Aunt G's funeral today. An hour and a half to get there, church, lunch, and then an hour and a half back home. Got in the door little over 45 minutes ago after leaving the house at 0830. Plus I slept for crap last night and the unsettled weather has my fibro acting up a little. Is it bedtime yet?
Big funeral. Church was packed. I heard from another family member that one of the ushers counted something like 330 people. There were about 250 at the prayer service last night I guess. Uncle M was trying to put on a brave face, but he looked lost. They'd been married 40+ years. She was only 62. Father Gallagher (yes, Irish accent included) did a really great job with our family before the service and with his homily. Sounds weird to say, but one of the best funerals I've been to. A great remembrance for G.
Relentless forward progress
Pam, that's the way they should be.
Mary, hope you get back to running soon.
Doug, when you're waiting like that, it probably seems a lot longer.
Marjorie, how is dog's butt?
Damaris, what's up next for hubby.
Neil, are you ready to be a steely eyed missile man?
Take Charge. Train Harder. Suck Less. No Excuses.
Lol van
No run today, I have a final test to prep for on Wednesday. To say i am scared shitless would be an understatement. They aren't easy and I have failed one before

Well, I have him grounded for shin splints. Hoping they will pass. And hoping that's all they are.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.
