Grey skies, cool temps, slight wind.
Sure, why not.
Anyone joining me? Or will you be resting today?
As soon as I finish chewing. It's 68 degrees, sunny, and the rail trail should be in delightful shade.
See you there in 30 minutes!

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Well I gotta get a new hydration bladder, found that mine is now leaking so I had to leave it at home this morning. I don't like going more than 10-11 miles without hydration during temps above 45 so I only did 11 miles this morning, I'll try to get the other 2-3 in later this afternoon/evening.
Oh and my friend Troy finished WS in 23:35:57 saw his pic on facebook.

It's raining, so I treadmilled a tempo run. 10 miles at 7:15 avg pace (45 minutes of tempo at HMP). Tired legs from my bike ride yesterday so I'm pretty happy with the run.

6 delightful and deloverly (well, except for the whole running part). Breezy, shady, 68 degrees. Could have done with a twee less humidity, but we had lots of rain last night, so it's damp.
Couples' baby shower this afternoon, with adult beverages. I'm pretty sure the babies are just an excuse for a party.
2 hour LR (15.25 miles) in 60*F, and light rain.
Well I decided to do this morning's "race", which has a clock but no official finish times posted. If I do well I'll call it a race; if not, it was a fun run. At least I showed up on time, so that's something. Anyway I got bib #666, so what could go wrong?

Turn it upside down, but good luck!
Are we there, yet?

My stupid drunk self may have broken my big toe at a concert yesterday :c Stupid stupid stupid. It's all kinds of horrific colors right now and hurts to put a shoe on it. X-ray tomorrow, hoping it's just bruised up and will need a few days off. Otherwise I will be looking into joining the YMCA down the street so I can put in a bazillion hours of deep water running and hopefully keep most of my fitness while it heals.
Fun run.
MTA: 21:18. Heading home now, will post excuses later.
Although it was a 15 sec PR, so it will be a race in my log.
