How soon after a run do you use your stick? (Read 47 times)

If you feel like you need to use it, how soon following a run do you use your stick? Also, and only if you do, do you stretch before or after you use the stick? A spot my left quad felt a little bruised this morning, or tight so I figured I'd give it a massage after my run, no problems during the run but I am sure my legs are feeling sore after yesterday morning's 12 mile long run. Smile

Usually I stick and foam roll before my runs and then at night before bed, not following my runs.

I was once told not to do it before a run, though I really wanted to.......... I wonder if it makes a difference?

There is some evidence that it does. Be careful with what people "tell you". Make sure you ask follow up questions.

But honestly, use the Google to investigate and learn. There is a lot of good information out there.
