LRB from yesterday Quincy and Hammy are good. They are laying here wondering why I haven't left to run yet when it is 815 on a Thursday

Happy Turkey Day, all you online running people! I probably won't run today, but I have a hard time calling it a "rest day" given all the stuff that needs to get done to prepare for my afternoon family invasion. I will be doing a marathon of eating though, so there is that.
Yeah, after lifting weights for the first time in a year last night, my triceps hurt like hell today. Ugh. They need turkey.

Good morning team!
I am just chillin' right now surfin' the 'net with coffee mug in hand. I will get out for a 7 mile jog in an hour or so then settle in for the big game which comes on at 12:30. It is 28 degrees with a wind chill of only 22 so it should be a nice run...once I warm up.
Marj, I love those two!
From the Internet.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Making muffins for breakfast, going to try to get in a few miles when they come out of the oven. Might be icy though, so it may end up being just one mile to continue the streak. Going to the in-laws' house after that.
These guys have come by to visit twice now! As the president of my house, I pardoned them.
Morning! Happy Thankdailies! I have 3-6 miles tonight.
Marjorie, enjoy the run and cooking.
Baboon, enjoy your marathon!
LRB, have fun with your run.
Lauren, awwww. Nice pictures.
My menu tonight:
Roasted turkey breast
White rice and pink beans (Thanksgiving PRican style)
Brussel sprouts with pancetta
Sweet potato casserole
Pumpkin soup
All homemade.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Beautiful pictures, Mrs President! How seasonal... :-)
Happy Thanksgiving, Dailies Peeps! I'm grateful to be able to run and grateful to know all of you.
I have 9 after work, with some intervals. I pray, pray, pray that I won't finish late again tonight. I hate starting a run when I'm already exhausted before the first mile...
Have a beautiful day and eat well!

The gym was pretty desolate at 5:30 this morning for some reason. Swam 2400m.

Lauren - Is that dinner? Poor birds.
8 later with my first real dose of speed since Oct. 26.
OK for now...not too many aftereffects from yesterday's 0.4 mile run.

Going to be heading to my mom's side of the family later this morning, hopefully spend most of the day just eating, relaxing and taking pics of family.

Good morning Turkey nation.
My Mom came in yesterday and the rest of my family arrives around noon and will be spending the night. Turkey trot this a.m., and than its time to get cooking. I'm very traditional -- turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, a big vegetable salad and fresh bread. Cranberry sauce got made last night, so that's one thing to scratch of the list.
DH is big cowboys fan and my brother in an insane 49er fan, so lots of football will be watched today.
Life is good.
3 miles and heavy weights done.
