    Well done!  You'll rock your next race.

      Yes, those were from recent training runs. I've only run three 5k's. One about 4 weeks after I started running where the goal was to just finish and I came in somewhere right under 38 minutes. A second one, two months after that where I came in ~33:30, and a third that was a muddy trail course. I'm really excited to get an 'official' sub-30 5k.

      Are those times from training runs or from races?  Have you run a 5K race yet?  If not, do so ASAP.  You will have no problems running even faster yet....it's just different than a training run.  You can tell yourself you are running as hard as possible when you train, but you will almost always pull more out of yourself in a race.

       

      Congrats on getting under that 30 minute mark either way!  It's a big deal! Smile

       

      Now go race!

      They'll tell you that failure is not an option.  That's ridiculous.  Failure is always an option.  It is the easiest and most readily available option.  It's your choice though.
