Hi.
I'm being a lazy bum at the moment, but will get at it eventually.
What's up for you today?
It is -4F out. Feels like -20. We are only supposed to get up to 1 today.
I am planning to run 12 miles at the indoor track this afternoon.
A lil' snow shoveling this morning and a 8-9 easy this afternoon.
Morning! I have a run on the TM soon. Might try outside but the winds are above 26mph and my lungs might not be happy.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Good morning!
I ran 6.6 easy, chilly miles. It was enough for today.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Runner with a riding problem.
What is it, like 200m? Are you allowed to switch directions after a while if you wanted?
I'm supposed to have 18 today. But we are going to DW's cousin's for brunch & Seahawks-watching today, which is ~1.5 hrs away, plus there is the late game. So we'll have to see when I can fit it in.

No, it is 445 meters from the inside lane. About 3.5 laps per mile. It's around an ice rink/speed skating oval. No switching directions. But as long as I don't run there too many days in a row it doesn't bother me.
And I have a new audio book to listen to.

OK that's even better than an outdoor track. That wouldn't be so bad; a while back I started doing my Hansons strength intervals at the track, which is about 7 miles right there.
From the Internet.
7 days off and I actually had a pain-free run today! Could it be that this stupid calf strain is finally healed? I'll find out when I try again tomorrow morning, I guess.

Geezus! I would be at the track too! It wasn't too bad here with a wind chill of 7...bad for running I mean. For anything else that's cold as F. lol
Can't people just leave us the hell alone?!
That's great news. Do you have a half marathon on the schedule?
How about this; don't even get out of bed. lol

You're getting close to taper time, aren't you?
